Especially in times of increasing globalisation, responsible business becomes a central requirement – but also a duty – for the next generation.
Integrating active environmental protection into production alongside continuous process optimisation while achieving the maximum quality standards – with this principle we at LuK set ourselves the high standards that can justifiably be expected from a modern industrial company.
By taking account of environment-related issues right from the word "go" when planning and developing production workshops and products, we are aiming for maximum effect at LuK:
- the use of comprehensive management systems for integrating environmental protection measures (ISO 14001 and EMAS)
- the evaluation of production processes including their effects on the environment
- the appraisal of products and operating fluids from their procurement, through production and logistics to disposal of spent parts are just the cornerstones of the LuK Group's approach to its environmental responsibility.
It is clear to us that the practical implementation of "Sustainable Development“ means more than just abiding by environmental legislation.
It is our declared aim, within the context of our core competence of the automobile drive train, to ensure individual mobility together with travel comfort and minimum fuel consumption now and in the future and to achieve competitive advantages through innovation and future-orientated technologies for the environment and the drivers of vehicles.
