Transformation of Schaeffler GmbH into Schaeffler AG has been finalized
The transformation of Schaeffler GmbH into a stock corporation (Schaeffler AG) announced by the Supervisory Board in September became effective with the entry in the Commercial Register on October 13. Schaeffler GmbH is now called Schaeffler AG.
As well as the entire operational business of the Schaeffler Group, all the operational holdings companies affiliated to the Group and the Group’s real estate are bundled in Schaeffler AG. This means the planned transformation to a stock corporation, which was announced some time ago, has been successfully concluded and it creates even more flexibility and several options for the company. There are no plans to float Schaeffler AG on the stock market.
