The ever-increasing volume of traffic on the roads has led to growing demands for freeing the driver from routine burdens. Automated shift gearboxes and double-clutch gearboxes now offer alternatives to conventional solutions, with particular benefits to be found in fuel consumption and dynamics. Together these transmission variants are referred to as the XSG range. LuK develops components which are used for the XSG range. This means that space-saving and sturdy units will be available for any application in the future.
