The structure and function are in principle the same as for the drive clutch disc. However, the requirements regarding the damping of vibration and engagement comfort are considerably less. For that reason in many cases it is possible to dispense with the cushion deflector and the torsion damper. Since the PTO clutch is used less frequently, engagement is normally done under a low load, the thermal loading and thus also the wear behaviour are not critical.
